Installing the software is extremely simple, when you plug the GB Interceptor in, a folder will open. Download the firmware from the GitHub (You need the .uf2 file) then simply drag the downloaded .uf2 file into the folder that opened when you plugged the GB Interceptor in, this will close the folder and immediately restart the GB Operator, allowing you to record your gameplay!
